Chichester and District Model Aero Club

Indoor Flying at Seaford College

Saturday 29th August

The college is situated in a picturesque setting in its own extensive grounds. It boasts one of the largest indoor sports halls in the country, being able to house two separate basketball courts. The school is situated in Duncton on the A285 Petworth road, which can be accessed from the A27 near Chichester. A detailed map can be found on www.seaford.org/map.html

On entry to the school there is a gatehouse with an electronically controlled gate. This will open automatically when a vehicle approaches. Follow the long drive up to the school main building and then turn right in front of it. Follow the road over the speed humps and past the school class rooms and lecture theatre. Just before it leads into parkland turn left passing a row of cottages. The sports hall will be in front at the end of the drive.

Indoor meetings are held on a Saturday afternoon from 1-5pm usually towards the end of each month and are open to all interested parties, whether CADMAC members or members of other clubs.
Proof of BMFA insurance is mandatory.

The first hour is reserved for free flight only. No helicopters or other radio models are allowed (no matter how small) during this period. The remaining 3 hours are allocated for a general fly-in with occasional breaks during the period for free flight sessions.

When weather permits, we are also allowed to fly radio controlled silent flight models in the open field outside the sports hall.
